I believe the solution for all this Amazon Kindle shenanigan is not about buying a Kobo. It’s about how we do not allow corporations to determine how we protest. Responsible consumption combined with political and social activism is a more sustainable way to challenge corporate power.

    I bought my kobo for the buttons and the remote control.

    But its consumer electronics, I’m hesitant to call any form of purchasing a rebellion. I just specifically don’t like Amazon

      The video is basically saying: don’t force yourself to switch from your Kindle. If you don’t already own an e-ink device and really need one, just buy whatever you like and enjoy it! What really stuck with me is how the video points out that ethical consumerism is kind of impossible to achieve. I really want to argue with that but honestly I can’t.
