Do Americans not know how fruits work or is it just the Epstein class that doesn’t?

It’s the rich fucks who have never done their own shopping that didn’t understand how shit works.

Like how the pedo in chief thinks you need an id to buy groceries (he’s said this multiple times while trying to push for draconian voter id laws)

It’s entirely possible that they know what bananas look like unpeeled, and they know what the inside of a banana looks like on a plate, but they’ve never seen for themselves how bananas move from one phase to the other.

They are so far removed from a concrete reality that they’ve never seen a banana ripen. To the wealthy, all green bananas are bad and gross. The yellow bananas are good, and those are the ones people bring you when you pay them money for a banana, or the ones you see in your wealthy spaces.

For example, a wealthy person who has a fruit bowl on the counter will also have someone who changes the fruit out every day for fruit that is perfectly ripe that day. They may not even know fruit ages until they are well into adulthood and find out accidentally.

Yes. We know. The idiot that said the thing probably knows too.

It’s a sound bite to make Mamdani seem like he’s pushing bad food. That’s it.

I’m not an American myself but I’ve heard of food deserts aka areas where fresh food isn’t available. This context is important because without it, your comment might read as if it’s their fault

I’m impressed that you managed to put a whole sentence together all by yourself! You should be very proud! Did you put your own socks on today too? Wow!
