    tl;dr: You don’t get one.

    Why? Several reasons:

    1. The companies you purchased from aren’t legally required to,
    2. The accounting would be difficult,
    3. Companies can easily claim they never increased prices in the first place (eating the cost), and
    4. Companies pinky-swear to “pass the savings on to you” in the future.

      1. This was literally the point of the whole thing.

      Levy import taxes to justify increasing prices on everything, then refund the taxes back to the companies while keep the new higher prices. It was a universal price hike in disguise.
