    This happened to me a couple time that I have the following advices to give:

    • If your not using a device for some time, don’t leave it plugged in. I had a Nintendo Wii U plugged in that I forgot about, when I checked on it, the battery on the gamepad had inflated.
    • If your device allow it, set the max charge below 100% especially if it’s a device that’s gonna be plugged in most of the time like a laptop. It’s still possible for the battery to inflate even if you’re using the device regularly. It happened to the laptop that was provided to me by my previous job and since it happened during the pandemic, I had to deal with this one myself.
