I worked as beer rep and occasionally talked to bar owners who had gotten busted in this exact way. Never once have I ever heard them complain about the kid specifically. They’ll complain about the bartender that didn’t check ID, or the LCB in general, but I don’t think anyone his holding a grudge against those kids, and certainly not to the point of risking additional assault charges.
Who would be targeting them? These are retail workers, not gang members.
I meant that if someone working at a Liqour store who deals weed or something. Then they would probably put out word not to have anything to do with this person because they were and could still be a snitch

Yes those hardened and dangerous…checks notes cashiers… will definitely put a hit out on them. You are supposed to check IDs. Nobody is trying to sell booze and cigs to kids its wrong. People generally do it by accident due to not following rules. You need to re-assess your entire value system if you think the “snitch” is the bad guy.

Pretty sure your impression is nonsense. People are drinking their asses off and tons of money are available to be made servicing that desire but get caught a few times selling to minors and you can get shut down and they actively send minors to buy. Even people who don’t care about ethics care about continuing to make money.
There will always be a dodgy person working the counter at some point. May not be the owner but someone who doesn’t care about the boss loosing their franchise or paying a fine.
