    I didn’t know about any remakes, the original movie is what I was referring to. I have never read the book but I did study the film and it is a special thing. Especially in regards to humanizing the enemy and realizations about propaganda and the pain of understanding

      Ah I fully take back my comment then. Ironically ive read the book but haven’t gotten around to watching the first movie

      When people talk about the All Quiet on the Western Front movie their usually referring to the 2022 Netflix adaptation since the last adaptation was in 1979, and before that 1930. I’ve heard great things about the 1930 adaptation but have no clue which your talking about :0

        The only way to watch it is the 1930s version. It’s very iconic and the cinematography is a masterpiece
