Here is something I find myself wishing for in Piefed:
A “suggest a community” option - because not everyone has the time or energy to start and manage their own, maybe if it gets a certain vote and someone volunteers as moderator it gets created.

I think I’ll just add a bit to the sidebar to indicate the community includes discussions about starting communities:
