Bangladesh’s Chinese-origin tank explodes during firing exercise, 2 killed, officer injured
Two Bangladeshi Army soldiers were killed and an officier was injured after a Chinese- origin tank allegedly exploded during a field firing exercise at the Hathazari Field Firing Range in Chattogram.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, September 9, when the Chinese tank suddenly exploded, leaving two soldiers killed and anothe injured.

I enjoy bashing MIC’s as others but unless I’m to understand the weapon tech from China is as bad as used Russian gear in Ukraine I don’t know why poke at being made in China.
At best the performance is substandard. There’s a reason their weapons are not terribly prolific, despite having the capacity to build large quantities for less cost than basically anyone else, discounting Soviet surplus.
It may honestly be a geopolitical strategy. Weapons that last can cause lasting havoc, and priorities and allegiances change. If you get blowback from a client you just refuse to sell them more weapons and the ones they have will rot pretty quickly.
