how does that work? He’s psycho, so his musical output is restrained by his insanity.
He always made the same slop, so I don’t think he has a creative block, more of an organisational block, so why would trying to exploit his kid make him any more productive?
EDIT : To be clear, I am not saying “his musical output is caused by/limited by/due to” his insanity. I mean his mental illness makes his productivity less efficient to the point where there is less output.
So if he’s being affected by mental health, it doesn’t matter if it’s his music or his kid’s music, neither is getting completed because he’s not going to get anything done, because mental health problems will impede his productivity.

I hate this view, it’s not true, at all. The majority of great musicians are normal people. This is a concept people made up to justify liking shitty people. I’ve personally interacted with a ton of my favorite bands and outside of a few assholes they are all cool normal people. Music is a rational thing, there are formulas for what does and does not work, you don’t need to be insane to do cool and innovative shit with music. If you look at most of the people that were insane they burned out, died, or ended up in obscurity. Insanity is a universally detrimental thing to experience, it doesn’t impart any kind of gifts. They’re also usually credit stealing narcissists, like Jim Morrisson, they don’t actually provide anything to the music other than a face and personality.
yeah, y’all have been describing us as broken and putting us in freak shows for ages. now you pay us to make you look like you have class when you get entertainment. it’s really quite amusing from the musician’s end.
I am a musician. You don’t get to speak for all of us. It doesn’t make you a special or different kind of person. It’s a very accessible skill to learn and perform. We’re not all petty little broken crybabies, in fact the vast majority are not. Your view says a lot more about you than it says about music and musicians. You’re projecting, not observing.

Someone call Kanye West
Kanye is too busy trying to exploit North into a music career
how does that work? He’s psycho, so his musical output is restrained by his insanity.

Bipolar disorder. Not making excuses, but
No. That’s not how manic episodes work.
Lots of bipolar people manages to live their lives without ever becoming nazis and supporting Trump though.
You are really doing a disservice to bipolar people by using his illness as an explanation of him being a massive asshole.
Literally has nothing to do with what I said.

insanity does not do that to music. trust me if you meet a musician that’s right in the head they make boring music.

I’m sorry they weren’t able to be themselves around you
I’m sorry you think that you have to be broken in order to be creative, that’s sad as fuck.
