Were I Zelenskyy, I’d agree to stop attacking Russian refineries producing diesel as long as Ukraine gets some good concession from it, but specify that Ukraine will instead continue to attack any refinery producing kerosene or fuel oil. For those that aren’t familiar with crude oil refining, each product coming out of crude oil comes out at a different distillation temperature (boiling point). So its nearly impossible (or very very inefficient monetarily) to refine oil into diesel without also refining out the kerosene and fuel oil.
