Aaahh! Wait, is that a real monster?
Yep, that’s Krumm from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters. 😁️
Now I want oblina and Icarus.
OK. Here’s some quick drawings of Ickis and Oblina so we’ve got the whole trio. Enjoy! 😀️
Been a loooooooong time since I’ve thought about Aaah! Real Monsters but you just gave me such a weird nostalgia trip.
Glad to be of service. _
Yeah, that’s the good stuff!
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters! was an amazing show. That and Freaky Stories.
There was a time in history where show creators were like “we know what kids want, it’s ‘horror and related’”, and they were absolutely correct.
Childhood memory right there
Arrrgh! Real monsters was incredible. You may notice the art style is similar to Rug Rats, both were made by a studio influenced by the genius estonian animator Priit Pärn.
If you like animation, you owe it to yourself to see Triangle (15mins) and Hotel E (30 mins) and my favourite ever public service announcement (2 mins).
I never got to watch the show, I thought it was too scary as a kid! I do recognize though!
