So it doesn’t change anything in any of the 3 scenarios, until the last one, and even then there’s still no documented evidence of the Lemmy devs not helping ever happening?

Then why doesn’t that admin switch their instance to Piefed? It’s been stable for a while now

Here is an example of both Dessalines and Nutomic helping troubleshooting Lemmy.cafe , which defederates from .ml

If such comment was made it would have probably created a lot of dedicated posts
If an admin of any instance got threatened that way they should probably release the evidence as this would probably encourage people to move to Piefed.

The Threadiverse Admin group has all the admins of the biggest instances , that’s probably more than enough to troubleshoot any issue
Also if you’re experiencing a but in the software itself, there are high chances that it’s there for everyone, so Lemmy devs will probably want to know about it

But it has come up that some major instances have a big concern in that if they defed from .ml dessalines will pull back support from them in retaliation
Any evidence of this? https://infosec.pub/instances defederates from Lemmy.ml and is doing just fine

I do not have the authority to make it policy.
Who does?

They don’t actually counter anything the Tankies say.
Did we read the same thread ?

Show me mod abuse from tankies I’ve been lenient with
And if you’re going to say dbzer0 admins are tankies, here’s a 468 comment threads where db0 criticize tankies, which then argue in the comments: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/48132283?scrollToComments=true

Are you going to tell every single instance federated with hexbear that they should defederate with hexbear?
You were the first one using the “instances which are federated with hexbear are suspicious” argument in this comment

1300, 1200, 1100 weekly active users
Monthly, lemmy.zip and hexbear both have 1700 monthly active users , dbzer0 is at 1500

But what does the size of the instance even has to do in this conversation? Maga.place got defederated by LW, SJW, Blahaj, etc and it was a 5 users instance at the time.

Lemmy.zip is federated with hexbear too, what does it make lemmy.zip ?
Lemmy.world is still federated with hilariouschaos - https://piefed.world/post/488105
Does this make Lemmy.world align with HC stances?

Enjoy!

What the heck

dying instances keep communities lose members each time when forced to migrate.
!movies@piefed.social is the heir of the lemm.ee version, and is now more active that the old one used to be

Piefed is indeed better for that: https://piefed.social/feeds
You can subscribe to those feeds, and see all the communities they list in one view

Last update they introduced games on the official app.
Wait, what? What does it even look like?

I have made a knitting feed.
You might want to link it to show what it could look like

Good find
Then why don’t those admins switch to Piefed if that’s a fear? It’s been around for a while now, and it works as well as Lemmy.
While we are talking, why haven’t you switched to a Piefed account yourself?
