There is an extension called chrome mask on Firefox. It helps Firefox pretend to be Chrome on certain websites.

Is Ironfox on Linux too?
Vivaldi is not even an option for me. What else is in it other than the unique design? Even the built-in ad blocker is a joke that they never tried to improve. Just a painted chromium.
It’s not just about setting up my primary browser, but on a virtual machine, which I don’t even tweak most times or in the case of multiple users.
The sync feature only synced browser history, bookmarks, extensions, etc., but not any Firefox settings for me.
Not updating the browser for any reason is not a solution; it is opening yourself up to the threats on the modern web. Please don’t do it.
I don’t have any issue with Firefox trying to make some money by doing such things, but all these features are causing the system to use a lot of RAM too. Once we praised Firefox as being the less memory-hogging browser in Linux, but if it is going this way, not anymore.
I called it bloatware because nowadays it is filled with bloat features no matter what.
We said Vivaldi is closed source just because they didn’t publish some part (the unique design) of their code.
We call Brave Bloat because of its crypto stuff.
Now Firefox has promotional links, suggestions, tracking stuff, etc.; then why not call Firefox a bloatware?
By the way, if the contract with Google ended, then why is the default search engine still Google? Also, what is perplexity doing there?
The developer directly mentions “No warranties or guarantees of security or updates or even stability!” in the GitHub page.
As of now, Firefox for Android supports many extensions by default. I believe this browser is not essential anymore in any sense and is not published in any known app stores, so users are required to update it manually.
Because what’s the point of using a privacy browser in Windows, btw? The windows have always exposed everyone’s data without a curtain.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•I can't believe this is the only comm that will not throw a hissy fit about this.
3·5 days agoYeah. But mostly it’s just a scam or low quality products, treatments. Thousands of government hospitals in india doesn’t have any facilities at all. Private hospitals are working to harvest money as much as possible. Even in government hospitals patients have to sleep in floor.
Also most of the health care products available in markets are not so healthy or even original products at all. People pay to buy things that destroy their health because of no other way.
They are saying india is improving by hiding all these ugly facts. No matter which party currently ruling india, every government is heavy trying to act like they don’t see these at all. They stole their own people.
Btw, it’s really not so proud to say an indian. Never has been. 🫥
(Nowadays india censors alot of the web and force other country based services too to moderate some contents on social media. So am a little bit worried that my account will be banned or comment deleted for saying these even though india have no control over lemmy or this instance. If this will be considered as spreading hate speech about india or then government, then it’s not. Everything am said is just truth. As an india i experienced it alot and it’s so disturbing than it looks.)

But that’s not my question. 😐
Why someone need bgm to feeling something? So what about real time incidents happening infront of us? Do someone play bgm at the exact time to get feeling?
I know and actually am a signal user, but the reality is there is no one to chat with and no publicly available groups or chats to get interact.

59·12 days agoAlong with facial recognition they must ask us to upload some proofs to prove we are humans.
The truth is, they already have all of our data.

4·13 days agoActually i used it more when studying in school just because all friends use it. So that actually become an addiction to scroll and find something useful like mining for gold. That’s what i mean by addiction.
Years after getting into privacy communities and open source tools, discovered the evil patterns of meta. Then as you said i started to feel the opposite effect of addiction as you said.

3·5 months agoMy ISP just aggressively blocking VPN and running tor network 24*7 system-wide doesn’t make sense at all. To prevent network throttling I have to disable my VPN sometimes, and I only enable it when really needed which rarely bcz tor browser exist.
