Ouhhh that’s interesting. I love Horrified, it is one of my favourite game, but unfortunately I often end uo quaterbacking while I would prefer people sharing their thoughts. Will check this one out for sure, thanks for the suggestions !

Funeral doom metal ?
I guess it is better to go for games that are cooperative and where everyone can contribute how they can without pressure. So I would suggest strategy games where everyone decides together what to do and all the players are united against the game, but in a way that it’s harder to put the blame on someone if they fail to do what’s expected of them (Ex : Hanabi). Here are some of my favourites that corresponds to this :
Pandemic
Horrified
Forbidden Desert
Fun fact : the white stuff is actually their urine.

To their defense, I think they are really self aware. The campiness and the theatrics are all intentional. It almost has a musical (the broadway kind) aspect to it. 5FDP actually believe they are hard.
The maturity of a 13 years old, but it’s listened by angry genXers and older millenials.
Some of my current favourites : Blood Incantation, Ulcerate, Worm, Civerous, The Ruins of Beverast.
Not really cause then it would be “pommes de la terre”.
For the record, some of us also use the word “patate” which is straight up the equivalent of potato.
Oh totally not, but that’s my point. If you are going to exploit those people, at least treat them with dignity before they go in front of the camera. Even Jerry Springer had at least the decency to pay for the flight, the hotel, the limo… before treating his guests like monkeys for his show. Not that it would excuse it, but it would appear a tad more humane.
That’s the thing, I totally get why people say he’s a sociopath cause even though he’s fucking rich, he can’t even pay for an hotel room for the participants. I have a feeling their belongings were taken so they would not have to deal with people stealing each other’s stuff, which would have been wayyy less likely if people got their own room. I highly doubt it’s that much cheaper to rent a fucking stadium, buying 2000 sleeping bags, paying for portable toilets, etc. than to rent a whole cheap hotel or motel.
He really wanted those participants to be desperate for that money. “At least if I get to the end, all that crap before will be worth it”. It’s disgusting… He’s not considering those people as humans but as cattle.
This reads like another Fyre Festival. Just when I thought my opinion of him could not get lower.
Well not really. And this is not to defend this company, I hate them so much, but I just want to highlight the difference.
When you go on Ticketmaster the price shown is what you will pay. Including the taxes and whatever bullshit fees they want to add. So you know exactly what it is going to cost you. What Cineplex was doing was showing the cost of the ticket (let’s say at 15$ or whatever), but when you go checkout, now the cost is 15$+tx, PLUS the ordering online fees as well. That is what was ruled illegal.
Yeah I don’t think they enjoy it that much…
Honnestly I was a little bit disapointed cause when I went to see it to the movie theater, I was in the mood for a scary movie. Like typical horror stuff. There is some “scary” passages, but it’s no It. So don’t expect to be full on frightened or to have big jump scares.
However I think it is a movie worth checking out. The acting is on point, the images are vibrant, overall greatly directed. Obviously the movie is a big metaphor, but I went to see it completely blind and I understood pretty easily what it was all about. I’m kind of surprised by the score on IMDB because it has a 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and I just heard nice things about this movie beforehand. It brought a tear to my eye even though I am not in the same situation as the protagonist.
I don’t know if OP speaks french or it’s just a funny coincidence, but “pipe” is also slang for blow job.
I’ve had the 2× spicy. Honnestly the reason they should be recalled is for their quantity of salt. My mouth was burning more because of that than the spiciness.
Thanks for clarifying. Totally agree.
It’s easy to point the finger at China when so many products the western world consumes is manufactured there.
SPOILER ALERT Not that big of a twist (let’s say not the 6th sense kind), but the trailer showed the part at the end where the antagonist has his big transformation. And it was half the trailer. The whole movie slowly builds up to that moment, I thought it was a poor choice to show it. It made it look like half the movie was that when it is only the culmination of everything that happened before.
Looks like a Kilkenny
