In all fairness, though, it’s just 6 episodes. It’s less likely that the standard 12 episode anime is gonna get all 9s. Let alone anything longer than that. Regardless of how good people say One Piece is (I haven’t seen it so I can’t say whether I agree with that statement or not), it’s never going to get all of its episodes over 9 on IMDB simply because it has over 1000 of them.

BanG Dream It’s MyGO. I’ve played the mobile game since around 2019 and have also seen the three original seasons before MyGO had come out. So I was familiar with the franchise, and while I enjoyed the 3 seasons, MyGO is way better! I was expecting more of the same, so I was pleasantly surprised.

The reason I’m not saying Ave Mujica as well is because, after MyGO, my expectations were raised, so Ave Mujica wasn’t a pleasant surprise, but rather, simply pleasant. It was no longer a surprise.

Also, to a lesser degree, this year’s Zenshuu was more fun that I expected.

I tend to agree with you in that most people are too addicted to the convenience. But yeah, Balaquina does make a good point. After all, a commonly cited reason as for why the Fediverse won’t rival mainstream sites is that making an account is more complex. Even then, it’s just choosing an instance, which isn’t that hard, it’s just more complicated in comparison to, say, Reddit or Twitter. So following the same logic, it very well could backfire if Spotify raises the barrier of entry (or barrier of continuous entry, for those who already have accounts that they will have to verify).

I’m not American, so I’m just now catching up with what happened over there yesterday. The first time I saw this image (elsewhere), I was praying that this was AI-generated. And I hate seeing AI-generated stuff and I’m not religious either. I still wish it was AI but now I know it’s not and… jesus christ.

The Nazis are associated with the Holocaust rightfully so, but it ends up with people thinking that all it entails is anti-semitism. Trump and Elon Musk can back Israel and be Nazis.
