  • Let’s see… Metallica, Testament, Saxon, Black Sabbath, Blind Guardian, the offspring, bloodhound gang, Eminem, Dynamite Deluxe, die absoluten Beginner… Those are the ones that immediately come to mind. I’m fine with that. Still listen to a lot of those today.

  • I’ve lived in the most northern region of Germany for over 30 years now, and still feel foreign here even though I’m white as it gets and speak German better than most Germans. The mindset of many Germans is on such a basic level because many have never stepped a foot outside of their country. And if they did, it was usually in either German speaking countries or tourist destinations full of other Germans. Many Germans are afraid of new things and prefer to live in their bubble, where Germany is the most advanced and civilized nation on Earth (which is utter bullshit). The feeling of being a foreigner becomes worse the farther south you go. I’m just happy that I got to know a couple of very good people who don’t fit this description.

  • The coffee analogy is probably not a good one. The generations that grow up with enshittified tech bullshit are complete shutins. They’ll be happy enough with a machine making their coffee. AI isn’t even necessarily involved here.

But people still have to build these machines. They have to maintain them. Someone has to grow, harvest, wash and roast the beans. Some of that can probably be done by machines, but not all of it.

The thing is, even if AI replaces everyone, there’ll be no more consumers able to buy things anymore. There literally won’t be an economy anymore. I fail to see how that helps capitalists. What is the plan here? Billionaires are a bunch of fucking weirdos, all of them.
