I haven’t seen it mentioned yet, but for a good read from a Villain perspective try A Practical Guide to Evil

Walkabout is the only thing I use my Quest 3 for, and I love it. I play every week with my friends around the country and it’s a perfect venue to socialize and have a blast mini-golfing. I joke that I have a $3 a month golf membership because I buy every new course that comes out (Usually ~1 a month) and it’s easily worth it. If you like the Labyrinth vibes you should try Meowwolf, easily my favorite.
Let me add to this by saying the disillusioned old hand in any workplace also has an important role: if management ever starts being unreasonable or makes poor/toxic decisions, the guy working there for over a decade has far more clout in calling it out than a young hire. You’ve been there long enough that you’ll know if something isn’t right, and that is insanely valuable for someone starting their career to have in a coworker.
People change at the speed of convenience. They are generally willing to put up with a convenient shitty product over being inconvenienced. And yes, switching to a superior product is often an inconvenience.
Think of it like Voltron - 3 of the 3/4ths come together to make the ultimate unified 3/4ths!
The US is kind of a lost cause, but there is an effort out there!
Go through all my RPG saves and use all the super powerful items I’ve been “saving” to finally see what they all do.
Wait, using Sick Time for doctor visits isn’t the norm? Damn, I guess I’ve been spoiled by unions my whole career.
Tell that to the Grim Sleeper!
Appreciate the link, TIL!
“The Archon Toilet refers to a Protoss tactic unique to Wings of Liberty that combines the Mothership’s Vortex ability with the Archon’s high splash damage output to destroy large groups of enemy units quickly.”
Some people work to live, others live to work. Personally, I enjoy having a life completely separate from my career. I don’t know anyone who sits around Sunday afternoon saying, “All right, it’s almost MONDAY! Glad I got through the weekend!” And I like sleep, sleep is good.
I don’t know how it would be possible, but imagine if within each player’s beacon they could use the capabilities of Mario Maker and/or Animal Crossing somehow? One can always dream…
If you do, get it from GoG using the FALON link to support the devs!
My understanding is that Net Neutrality is not the same as privacy. The first is concerned with providers not discriminating against the data being sent/received. The second is about tracking all the data that is being sent/received (and more).
Very interesting video, I had no idea the level of redundancy built into QR codes. Thanks!
For fun I decided to give it a try with TheBloke_CapybaraHermes-2.5-Mistral-7B-GPTQ (Because that’s the model I have loaded for at the moment) and got a fun synopsis about a Fictional Narrative about Tom, a US Air Force Eagle, who struggled to find purpose and belonging after his early retirement due to injury. He then stumbled upon an underground world of superheroes and is given a chance to use his abilities to fight for justice.
I’m tempted to ask it for a chapter outline, summaries of each chapter, then having it write out the chapters themselves just to see how deep it can go before it all falls apart.
LLMs have many limitations, but can be quite entertaining.
Is there a website or resource that describes this in more detail? First I’ve ever heard of a cracked .IPA
The ad they put together was fantastic!
Wow, that video. [Almost dies] “Lol, I’m the main character of my narrative so I’m not going to ever get seriously hurt!”
Thank you for the nuance. Bad data and hyperbole doesn’t help what I agreed is a serious issue.
