When has meaningful change ever happened without those in power engaging in violent retaliation against the often peaceful and nonviolent exploited classes? I sympathize with this deeply, but we can’t see defeatism as the path forward. Those last hopeless human conflicts won’t be good for the non-humans on the planet today either - I dont see humanity going out quietly. We gotta keep trying, and maybe it’ll be better in the next life, and for the new people, and maybe they’ll be better than us for it.
