Thank you for doing that. You’re right.

Atonal screaming ensues
I’ve recently started using Discord more to play with friends and my god, the UI is so awful.

That’s totally fair. Nebula has been a good place for me to find distilled content from the creators I really care about. Hard to argue in Google’s defence lately. They bought it early so who knows what it might been if it stayed independent.
Just got a soft spot for the site I guess. It gave me some of my favorite people.

Oh yeah. It’s weird being old enough to remember a time before youtube and I’m still pretty young. My (much) older sister and I would AIM chat and email all the time. We had ytmnd.com and stupidvideos.com, but it turned out people would rather take the ease of video sharing whatever rather than the pseudo video dating youtube were trying and the founders recognized the greater potential.
I remember when the site first went public, even early on it was so much better than the others. Even with all the problems I’ll always love YT.

That’s fair though the drones they’re primarily concerned about look more like small planes rather than recreational drones. I’m assuming if any Poles have drones to fly, they’re likely well off enough to head a bit west to avoid them being shot down. And with modern nav/attack chains I’m pretty confident they’ll discern between the two.

Every time I read something like this the laziness and lack of foresight is just baffling. It’s hard to comprehend.

A roll of biscuits and the can is pressurized. The instructions say to peel the label then jam a spoon or something into the middle seam to make it pop open. It is quite a little bang.

I’m guessing this is about perceived performance issues, potential or realized. But I’m not sure at all. I’ve never dealt with something like this. Only a few places I’ve worked have even had a proper HR department.

I agree with the sentiment, I just don’t think Americans are going to actually go to that length. At least what I’ve learned from my 28 years in this country. I feel like the chilling effect is going to be stronger than most might hope for. But I hope you’re more accurate than I am in this regard.

Ukraine is just that fucking cracked. I feel like that’s the takeaway we should have. They’ve been buying us time for a really long time. It could’ve been a successful blitzkrieg by all rights. We need these strong people for the future of international security and allowing them to fall would be a major blow to the future of world peace.
Ukraine. On something fucking else.

This is for one, something that at least I have realized to be the end result of this conflict from the beginning.
Based off the response the past 3 and almost 1/2 years I have completely zero faith that NATO would come to the aid of the Baltic states. And they understand that. That’s why they’ve been pulling out of accords in order to prepare defenses. They know better than almost anyone the threat Russia poses.
This has always been Putin’s plan. And now that they’re in full swing on the war economy, pulling away now would be a complete economic collapse. Anyone that doesn’t treat these fascists as such are either living in their own bubble or grossly misinformed.
They absolutely intend to take the Baltic states.

As an American I’m not “happy” about the strikes. But my concern is crippling Iran’s ability to supply drones and war materials to Russia. They’ve gotten away with it for almost 3 1/2 years. Anything that serves to diminish their ability to support the fascist Z regime is something I’ll be content with.
Maybe don’t supply a genocidal military dictatorship with weapons and people will have more sympathy for you, Iran.
Russia doesn’t give a flying fuck about its “allies”. They’re all just tools for them to wage their war.

Unfortunately suppressing the domestic population is easier than trying to nation build halfway across the world. We can be pretty damn effective at oppressing our own population.
Yeah the last time I bought a phone was around 2021-22 with the S22, and that was the last time I could actually afford to buy a phone like that. If I were to buy a phone now it would be a cheap phone, not a main model from a big brand. My S22 still works, so I’m gonna keep using it.
The battery is starting to show its age, but nothing I can’t work around.
