Oh man, I hadn’t heard of the DMA before. How exciting!
That’s why rather than trying to change people’s mind on the internet, I’ve resorted to just ridiculing them instead.
How depressing. Makes me wonder if that’s part of the reason I’m struggling to switch careers, because though I’m well qualified for my desired role - I don’t fit the stereotypical career history.
I mean, Lemmy has the exact same potential for issues with admins and mods - the key difference being that if those issues happen you can just up and off to another instance without having to abandon Lemmy altogether.
The scientific paper linked from the article, stating there’s no evidence for porn addiction, in case anyone would like to read more and missed it.
But that’s the great thing about Lemmy - you can just go to another instance and continue using Lemmy if you disagree with some admins decisions.
What’s your complaint?
It is in Liftoff.
the UK do this as well
They do?
Well shit, they do! Shame they don’t actually tell you about it actively - as you said, they probably don’t want most people to realise.
Classic Conservative tactic.
“Evil, stupid, greedy-” stuffs pockets “-jobless, welfare scroungers!” stuffs pockets “Pensioners, vote for me to bring down our welfare spending!”
For anyone interested, high-meat diet was defined as >100g meat per day.
OP’s image needs to be captioned with your comment and then ever so slightly jpegified. chef’s kiss
Yup. Things like easily editing posts or getting extra context menus up, or sorting feeds by Top Hour or 6 Hour - Liftoff can do this but Thunder can’t.
The only feature that I can think of that Thunder has that Liftoff doesn’t is swipe actions.
Edit: Liftoff has swipe actions! I missed the update.
Have you tried Liftoff? I’ve never had any issues with it.
I do like Thunder, but it’s harder to navigate to people’s profiles and communities.
Having read through that, to me it sounds like the WMF have ‘enough’ money for 12-18 months ahead - which doesn’t sound unreasonable.
Though I do agree the emotional blackmail I’ve experienced in the past from their fundraising ads would very much suggest otherwise.
I think you took that a little too seriously.
