  • I wrote a scripts that automates artillery for me in Hell Let Loose. It uses a webste that does the calculation. Providing degree and elevation. I input the target on the website, then scrape that data and use computer vision to auto adjust the gun to that position, load then fire. I can saturate an area, or just fire shots on target. It works about 60% of the time because the OCR (Optical character recognition) isn’t super reliable. So it often is worse and slower than had I not. I did it last week so until then I had never cheated. Tomorrow they are releasing an updated that overhauls artillery, so I’ll have more work todo. I’ll probably just let it die xD

  • When I was on a plane 15years ago I saw a giant ball of fire (or light) floating within 25-50m of me. Just outside my window. It stayed mostly stationary for several seconds while I stared at it. To this day I don’t have a clue what I saw; a will-o-wisp; ball lighting; a ufo; maybe an asteroid and I’m delusional about the amount of time it hung I’m the sky next to me. I tried to wake my sister up to show her but it disappeared as I did, decending. Idk if she ever believes me when I tell her about it every year. I really wished I asked the flight attendant if I could speak to the pilots about what I saw. Still bothers me to this day. I’ve been on the lookout ever since, hoping to the phenomenon again

  • BULLSHIT, I specifically have LOTs of experience tapping cats - for the local humane society usually to neuter. The thing is they aren’t easy to trap, and once you successfully trap a certain cat, it’s going to super warry of that trap for 6-8months. You have to completely rebuild its trust in the trap if you want to catch it again. Cats aren’t dumb, especially about this type of thing. And they are not super likely to enter the trap at all without the sides being covered, so they can’t see the mesh wireing. I used to be the moderator of R/live_trapping on Reddit before I left.
