Oh this isn’t a new thing. I was just talking to a friend last night and Mock the Week got mentioned. I then spun off and started sending him clips I had taken of bits from the show that always make me laugh like a motherfucker. British panel shows are my comfort food. Mock the Week, Cats does Countdown, and QI are probably the three I watch the most of but only because there is so much in the run of content. Big Fat Quiz of any year/decade/everything too. Same with Would I Lie To You.

A lot of my favorite shows were pretty shortlived like Dara O’Briain’s Go 8-Bit or David Mitchell’s Was It Something I Said. I remember watching Series 8 or 9 of Mock the Week as the episodes were coming out. Been a loooooooong time that I’ve been watching British comedy. American humor is too hand-holdy most of the time. Gotta walk you through the jokes and feels almost insulting to your intelligence at times. Canadian humor is more dry but can be a bit American too. English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, all of it has the right flavor of dour, dry, bitter, and hilarious that I’m looking for. I’ve got a fuckin list of comedians that I could rattle off forever and start easily quoting them and, funnily enough, I didn’t find them through the panel shows. Well most of 'em.

Next time I’m gonna have to make the source thingy bigger. I put it up above. Not criticizing you, saying sorry that I wasn’t more obvious with my thing and made you go lookin’. But it is a fascinating article

It was edited, that’s a fact

It was a photograph taken focusing on the center of a security banner. It was not edited or cropped after the fact, it was merely taken from a close range focusing on the images. How this has sailed 35,000 feet over your head I have no idea. But this entire comment chain has been nonsensical from start to finish on your part. Because no. Occam’s Razor does not apply to a situation this not occurring. You have invented a chain of events that has never happened, insisted that things were edited when they were not. This is an utter waste of time.

I haven’t had or put up a Christmas tree since I was a child. I don’t see the point. I don’t do any seasonal decorations. Time moves so fast that it’s like a week later I’m taking down a bunch of shit I paid money for and can barely use.

To start with, there is no reason to bother providing credit to a security banner that there are 50 of in every airport in Canada. Just isn’t.

But more importantly, they took the pic because they were focusing on the images in the center of it. That’s why. They didn’t crop out anything they were talking about. It is literally in the center of the image. A banned hockey stick.

Occams Razor does not apply here as your entire train of logic has been flawed from the start.

I mean the username is in the image. Unless you’re talking about the poster of dangerous items in which case they didn’t bother to attribute it because it’s the prohibited items poster when you go through security in a Canadian airport.

Teachers are allowed to have relationships with their students. You injecting the sexual stuff into it is creepier than her caring about a kid. A kid who you said died of social isolation and academics. That sounds like suicide to me. So she cared about a kid who no one else cared about and was upset when he died because she bonded with them and cared. YOU JUST VIOLATED THAT. So a kid who died because they were socially isolates and you broke into the phone of a woman you have no connection with in order to deprive him of that connection after his death. That’s how I’d see it if I were her. A massive violation of privacy, a massive dose of disrespect to the dead and meddling in places you never should.

You should probably say goodbye to your roommate because she will never feel safe around you again and never trust you again. You forced your own beliefs on her.

Not only are you an asshole, you deserve to be alone until you can respect the basics of someone else. If you already are treating her like you know whats best when you’re only roommates then you are going to be a fucking nightmare to date.

It is, in fact, one of the most common ADHD symptoms. You don’t get dopamine from anywhere and then you find a song that you really like and pumps it out. So you listen to it over and over and over and over again, almost like self medication, to get the dopamine you don’t get elsewhere.
