  • do you have to mention that germaniac stuff every time?

I can refrain from my German towards you if you wish, it is meant with full genuineness though, that was the informal similar to the use of hallo. I do not know what is done on Reddit but I can likely safely assert my use is meant much differently.

And hopefully so! It is difficult to read signs, and sometimes even more difficult to read when someone actually does say something, since like you said, things can be meant very differently than intended. I will say though, it is much better to pop the question and get a response, and build from what is said, than to ponder what could be the case. The former progress can be made(and comes with its own challenges at times), the latter you are just spinning tires.

  • Take care and make sure to get your electrolytes! Powerade is friend! Even just some light sips, I know it can be troublesome to try to ingest things when the bug makes it all seem bleh.

From the sounds of it though, having done everything right, you should be on the up-and-up before you know it. Keep being lovely and know that we all love you!

Hearing about Covid reminds me of the time I had to stand out in the cold with a slow-moving line of folks, my thoughts being “oh this is totally not a super spreader incident about to happen.” I go and get tested: Positive. I waited in the room for longer than expected while waiting to hear that result, they come in with a hazmat suit and escort me out the back. That was quite an experience.

  • There is not really a context to put it in. I skimmed the report which does for a fact come from the HHS(not technically “approved,” as of now), admittedly not being one of the paid-to-get-results statistics chaps that can string together any outcome with another money behind them, and what it boils down to is “people who actually respect other people have strong feelings against the Fascists who want people dead and gone.” Of course, they specifically crafted questions to get the answers they wanted, focusing on very specific, very hostile, very troublesome persons and institutions for respondents to answer with regards to.

It is amusing in a way that the Fascists are trying to paint themselves anti-authoritarian. I guess they figured out that branding people “communists,” no longer worked as well for their ends.

"SCP-945(random number for the joke): Bottomless Costco

    • Classification: Safe

Description: Found in the small town of [REDACTED], SCP-945 looks to be a normal “Costco Wholesale,” store, but given the dissapearance of [REDACTED] Residents, it was discovered that the shopping carts of SCP-945, despite looking normal, upon an individual depositing one American Quarter into SCP-945-A and taking a Cart out, they become unresponsive to external stimuli, and mutter what appears to be [REDACTED] before bolting into SCP-945-B with one of SCP-945-A’s Carts, never to leave. It is uncertain if SCP-945-B is a pocket dimension, but tests of SCP-945-B carts have determined that they can hold seemingly infinite items, as no matter how much is added, more room is created. It is therefore surmised SCP-945-B operates on similar logic. Further tests are needed, and the town of [REDACTED] has been scrubbed and locked down to prevent access to SCP-945-A."
