Not just after having a smoke; all the time. All of my clothes, even clean, smelled like smoke. My car reeked. I was nose blind to all of it.

2.5 years since I quit and I swear I can smell a smoker a mile away and it turns my stomach.

Smokers: we really stink, bad.

Costs need to come down, of course, but I’d prefer we focus on decoupling from the US in every way possible.

I used something like this, externally, once the panels were in place: https://www.homedepot.ca/product/dap-kwik-seal-ultra-advanced-sealant-for-kitchen-bath-clear-162-ml-squeeze-tube-/1001000752 - it wasn’t this exact product; I think I found something that said outdoor on it. Honestly any clear outdoor caulk would probably do.

Strapping I used these: https://www.homedepot.ca/product/1000173739 - might be overkill, but I had a bunch in stock so I just used what I had. Used self-tapping screws to secure them to the metal frame. You can sorta see them on the outside of the roof in my first picture.

Thanks! Some tips:

1. Glue/seal the panels, it’ll help with strong winds.
2. We’re in Canada, so ymmv, but the first year, heavy snows collapsed some of the roof panels into the greenhouse. Resolved by adding 1x2 strapping across the roof. We recently added some inside as well.
3. It took me and a 10-year-old helper the better part of a day to get it done. You will need a second set of hands at various stages, so ensure your partner/kid/friend can help.

If you happened to buy a similar greenhouse from Amazon, I would suggest also purchasing these: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07P7VZV2C - that way the vents open as the greenhouse heats up. They have worked perfectly for years.
