  • In the recent ’ Original Constitutional Principles Affecting Culture’ event where the student Fulnecky discusss this, it stick out to me that she admits that the University directed her on how to file a grade appeal & file discrimination claim. She seemed upset that she wasn’t validated. I am a person that leans that the paper deserved a grade but not a passing one, it was terrible. You can read the comment from the TPUSA Faculty Advisor even they admit that much.

I find this so bizarre of a claim because MAGA rode a wave nearly a decade ago of fighting campus “Safe Spaces” and “Facts don’t care about your Feelings” yet this student is claiming that other groups and religions would have been given “validation” & “Compassion”.

Doubt the RW in my state of Oklahoma cares about any of that and just want to assault Public Education from k-12 & higher ed. Her claim is that she didn’t get an experience that Far-Right Christians & Republicans have purged from that very campus.

This has nothing to do about anything other than targeting the Instructor as well as setting up plans to defund public schools & all other aspects. OU is really going to hurt themselves caving to this mob and not defending the instructor.

  • Was wondering if heatpumps would be the next step and on the site that is what they exploring net for the cooling side.

In parallel, the project will assess alternative LCT options — such as heat pumps and rooftop wind turbines — to identify ways to further boost SHIELD’s efficiency. As deployment begins, we’ll also explore how the commercial model can evolve to incorporate services like Distribution System Operator (DSO) flexibility and expanded P2P supply arrangements.

If we are looking at this kind of modeling hopefully district systems could be considered as well.

  • Isn’t the issue that a small percentage of people who get vaccinated are not protected (or the vaccine doesn’t take effect), AND there is a small population that cannot get vaccinated due to compromised immune systems or other health issues? Then, by maintaining a large pool of susceptible hosts, we just create a “mutating wonderland” for these viruses to evolve further.

It becomes a lot of people’s problems after that. They are already obstinate people refusing common sense health practices that could become refugees when their state system collapses.

  • I’d say Arch Linux if you are sure about doing something else than Proxmox. The wiki and help posted on the internet might benefit Arch switch currently. You can get the experience you are looking for and it doesn’t box you out of using Nix. Arch will get you going sooner IMO.

NixOS seems fun though and I’ve only recently starting messing with it. You will do best engaging with what you prefer best. The NixOS switch could pay better dividends in the future though.

If I recall this hasn’t been the first time NixOS has had to consider Palmer/Anduril. You could keep an eye out for the auxolotl project that is doing an alternative/fork of Nix.
