I’ve been torrenting with them in the past. I’ve since moved to Mullvad, but Windscribe didn’t have a problem with it about three months ago.

The only game I really play is Call of Duty, which will not currently run on Linux.
The traffic between the VPN and the target site is anonymous because most VPN’s use a rotating IP system. If the VPN truly doesn’t collect any data, the target site has no clue who is actually visiting other than that randomized IP address.
The point is, VPN’s do work and the biggest caveat is finding a VPN provider that you can trust.
I use Mullvad. You don’t have to give them any personal information at all.
I went to Windows 11 last week using the BYPASSNRO method. I really only use my PC for gaming, and I’ve noticed a lot more freezing in Steam than with Windows 10.
I’m moving back to 10 as we speak.
I agree with Gavin Newsome.
Apparently, attempting to have a conversation about it here is also offensive to moderation. If you even question trans people or the trans community, you’re immediately moderated.
And they say Lemmy is an alternative to Reddit. 🙄
History has been working against us for quite sometime now. The majority of us are one paycheck away from living on the street and not being able to feed our family. It would have to become absolutely dire for us to actually do something about it, as you say.
Is it as secure as it claims?
Without a third party audit, we’ll never know.
I’ve never had an issue pirating anything with Mullvad.
I used it temporarily and didn’t notice anything. I left to use a custom domain, which they don’t support.
I don’t think many people here use Brave Browser because of their crypto referral program, but they’ve made strides at mitigating fingerprinting. I use Brave Browser on my PC and Android and never had an issue.
If you don’t have a VPN, it’s time to fire one up. I’d suggest Mullvad or Windscribe.
That’s the best free option, and possibly best option overall. I’ve been with them for about five years now and it’s been great.
Sure, I concede. I don’t think of Linux because I don’t use it often, but I understand.
VLC may go down as the greatest FOSS product in history. They’ve stated their mission since the beginning and 20 years later, are still flying that route. It’s unbelievable how much money they’ve turned down to remain on their original mission.
I wish I’d known about them earlier. Their services look awesome. Are there any alternatives that you know about?
I’d assume Sweden after the Swedish government stated they wanted backdoor access to Signal.
CryptPad.fr should be on watch.
Tim Walz is a white dude. Democrats need to stop fucking around. We’re back to a place in history where women nor people of color are winning a presidential election. It’s the unfortunate truth.
