Payphones have not been around/in good condition for a very long time in the uk. Hollywood has created more mundane shit before, why wouldn’t they do the same for payphones?

The deck can play ghost of tsushima, while not a recent game, it is definetly the best looking game I have ever played. The steam machine can probably run modern AAA games (without any AC/DRM)

I feel sorry for colossal order. They’re clearly some very passionate people who’s dreams have been ruined by their own executives and paradox.

If you can still use a mouse well, grand strategy games can be played with one hand. Despite all the (deserved) criticism they get, paradox games are a lot of fun. (and their modern ones even feel like a full game without having to buy any dlc) They can be a bit difficult to keep up with without a keyboard though so play on lower speeds.

If you are more concious about who you give your money to, endless legend 2 is a 4x published by hooded horse that is very good (think civ but fantasy) and since it is turn based it is a lot easier to play with just a mouse.

For 40k, I’ve been watching a lot of bricky (also does non warhammer stuff so I’ve linked a specific video) and krakduk. (does the annoying youtuber voice, if that gets on your nerves it might not be the channel for you)

There is also the lexicanum for everything 40k, old fantasy, and age of sigmar.

A couple years ago I went somewhere for my cousin’s birthday and they had haloween, bonfire night AND christmas decorations up all at the same time.

I dont think the problem is with steam at all? I thought the problem was cosmic using fallback csd put in for gnome instead of the developer intended ssd.

None, I rarely text my friends because I am usually just with them, the only times I text them is to organise something in person.

I’d say that, depending on your hobbies, it’s a 50/50 split. People who don’t play video games spend more time with friends irl and people who don’t have many hobbies outside of video games spend more time with friends online.

I would also say a lot of stuff in my life has pushed me towards spending more time with friends online. (Medical stuff, anxiety, covid)

The entire ending of portal 2.

Reaching the peak of celeste was an incredible moment for me and the summit chapter is such a good “final” gauntlet. I’ve gone on to beat everything but farewell and the entire game is so well made. (My thumbs really hurt though)

The uk made exams “easier” (they made exams less about memorising facts and more about applying them) for students in secondary school during the lockdowns, that was quite nice. (And I dont know anyone who did any worse in exams because of lockdown)

I definitely feel like I’m not as good as socialising as I should be, but I don’t know if that’s just me because I don’t have a non-lockdown version of myself to compare to.

I think I would rather be the person I am because of the lockdown than the person I would have been without it. (although I didn’t lose anyone close to me, I definitly think the world would have been better without it)

Students not being able to read an analogue clock being a reason may seem silly, but being able to read one shouldn’t be a requirement to be able to do well in exams, especially UK exams where students have enough to deal with already.

They say they’re working on new hardware every time they make their software worse so people think xbox is still worth it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the statement is just talking about a prebuilt windows PC that boots straight into game mode and they aren’t actually working on a proper console.

Part of rimworld is about the horrible shit you are forced to do. The sims players do all of this BY CHOICE
