Every time I see Republicans taking a new low on attacking trans people, all that tells me is that’s how Republicans deserve to be treated in the future.
When I see Republicans calling for the erasure of trans people, what do you think that tell me Republicans deserve to be treated like?
Democrats are the controlled opposition. It’s why they would never give Sanders a fair shake. He would upset them “good billionaires” because going further right is preferable than a single step left for the wealthy.

Zero comments on the plight of the American worker beyond “the economy is going fine!” which is contrary to the reality that most Americans don’t have $500 saved for any kind of emergency and for most of us the economy is not reflective of our prosperity.

Remember during covid when Republicans were complaining about any $1000 checks for Americans suffering from the realities of covid because those checks were going I make them fat and lazy and not want to work anymore? Corporate Democrats run the party. Corporate Democrats are closer to Republicans that they are the Progressives in their party. It’s why after the election their thought wasn’t “did we fight hard enough for working americans?” it was “hey maybe we should start bashing trans people, it worked for Republicans”.
For Corporate Democrats this is business as usual. They lost but so what? Their donation machine brought in a shit ton of money under the auspices of “this is the end of democracy if we don’t win”, but if they acted like that in their day to day it would piss off their billionaire owners. Terrorism is an appropriate word here. Threats of violence to achieve political goals. They threatened employees with violence because the store chose to offer those items. I’m not really sure how much more clear cut it can get. Terrorism isn’t just killing people.

The Democratic party broke the Democratic party by letting the mask slip and showing that when push comes to shove, the Corporate Democrats find fascism to be just fine with their wealthy benefactors interests.
After years of the party using “this might be the end of democracy” for campaign purposes, their actions show they either don’t care or are actively on board with ending it. In a conflict where monied interests are trying to destroy our nation and rebuild it to solely their interests, is it surprising that those who have fattened themselves with that money are rendered ineffective?

From my perspective based on their actions in this defining moment, corporate Democrats are not our friends and will choose to enrich themselves instead of fight for us at every self-interested opportunity.
