The bailiff.
“Three things you should never talk about at work: politics, religion, and seggs.” Ageless advice.
So, “Guilty until proven white”?
I’m torn. On the one hand, you are right. It does seem to be a MAGA voter constant that they don’t see the evil of their actions until the feel the consequences personally. On the other hand, we Americans all need to eat, and we now cannot painlessly import our food.
I agree. This is shaping up to look like a constitutional crisis ala Andrew Jackson. As an American, I am terrified of the prospect, but can’t bear to look away.

What is the message here? Can someone ELI5?
This show looked interesting, so I started watching it. After the first episode, I was confused and frustrated. But, I really wanted to like it, so I watched the second episode. And the third. I should like this. I love Sci Fi. I love complex stories, there’s a plot here somewhere, I can feel it! After the third episode, I gave up. Nothing made sense. I watched Blue Eye Samurai again, I enjoyed that despite it’s flaws. I wanted to like this show, I really did. I just… I’m missing something, but for the life of me I can’t figure out what.
I’m glad you all enjoyed the show. Be glad I don’t get a vote.

Incorrect, that is the ”string of pearls” configuration.
This is the best response I’ve seen.
It’s cheaper to pay the fines when accidents happen than it is to run the trains safely. Just the cost of doing business.
I’m sure the historic flooding happening didn’t help, either.
That isn’t why it was demoted. It was demoted because it kept insisting it was a real priest and could do real priest things like hear confessions, etc. My wife was quite holier than though about it.
