I’m interested in this topic as well. I know I’m being tracked on my phone, but I’m much more confident my phone manufacturer is not selling/giving my data to police or insurance companies. Those are who I’m concerned with tracking me.

After a few seconds of this scenic view of a car driving down the road, a person in a mask or something abruptly appears and screams incredibly loud. I can’t remember if it’s the video or your friends that tell you to look very closely to see if you notice the “thing” to ensure you are properly jump scared.

There are two options for “cartoon” graphics which weren’t worth the fps gain IMO. I recommend the normal graphics option marked ultra performance.

I’ve had significantly less crashes using proton GE 27. The keyboard thing is very frustrating.

I have the Killswitch as well and the kickstand is my favorite part. Use it all the time.

My bad. I’m on steam deck and have that option.

On the dayz game page where you would click play, click the settings cog on the right. Choose developer, then delete proton files.

I didn’t see this mentioned yet in the comments - have you tried going to developer settings and deleting proton files for the game?

Interestingly there appears to be an SD card in the cart they’re putting in the switch.
