How many of you have received these calls? I got a ton of them along with my husband and siblings.

As others have already stated, the job market is fine, the stocks are fine, but the ability to afford living day to day is worse than I have ever remembered. Here in my cheaper state here are some random prices:

• A bag of Doritos is over $7.
• Beef shortage makes ground beef for a family of 4 $14
• Gas prices are over $3.70
• My grocery bill increased by nearly 50% overall and we are buying less on top of that
• Car prices are through the roof, making it impossible for people like me to change cars (I’m hearing they are going to drop again soon)
• Rent prices are soaring to the point where it isn’t sustainable
• Interest rate keeps rising

While true, unfortunately the latest government spy bill is bipartisan. It will make end to end encryption for texts and chat illegal, using drug enforcement as the excuse.

This is why tech monopolies are bad. Google waited until they had a near monopoly on the browser engine and then pulls this shit. Alternatives still exist though, and people will vote with their actions by either not using Chrome or not using those websites that have DRM.

Taking a private citizens’s nudes and sharing it against their will in congress may go against the spirit of that clause. I would love to see how this holds up in court.

Desantis needs to stop with the culture war bullshit.

Two things happened:

1. culture wars are at an all time high due to right wing lies and attempts to push everyone not like them back into a culture of fear and hiding. So they are more sensitive to stuff they would not have batted an eye over before.

2. stories no longer have men controlling everything and having all the authority/adventures

One could say that with every election. It’s always a gamble but when you start from such a low point it really doesn’t matter. Putin is a violent dictator using a scorched earth policy against Ukraine. He is ruthlessly suppressing LGBTQ people to the point where their existence cannot be spoke of. He kills his opponents and is engaged in an ongoing Cold War with the USA. He needs to go.

Someone needs to take this crazy man out for the good of the planet
