This person does not exist.
In Germany. As far as I know the guy has a great time :-)
btw thay’s the same reason why Steam Germany has exactly ONE employee.
Steam is not paying taxes in Vietnam, and they have no official employee in Vietnam, that serves as a contact person. The latter is required by law. E.g. Shops need to have a shield on their front, giving contact information, and communicate clearly who’s behind this shop (private person or company).
Same, thanks original commenter!
Tried it with 3.7.0, but somehow the app stopped working, and I’ve continued using Ultrasonic, but will give Tempo another try, as soon as 3.8.0 is available on F-Droid. Liked the Tempo-UI more, than Ultrasonic’s.
Hey, thank you for the advice. I’m aware of the function of an encoder, and use ffmpeg to re-encode the files from .flac to .mp3. But I was looking for a “more comfortable” way.
Thanks for the advice, sometimes it is so freaking obvious :D
Such a great tool, but I would love to just download in MP3 320, as FLAC is overkill for a music collection, and eats storage for breakfast :-( Is there something similar for MP3 320?
Thank you for Seal, was looking for an Android yt-dlp app.
At first, I’ve thought that this is an overpriced fantasy lego set (which it is), but then it me: Use lego for your tabletop enviroments, minifigs for characters and foes. so obvious, yet so clever :D
I’m not using them either, but initially had planned on using them for an audio-play I was working on, as a brainstorming tool, in form of a digital board, where I could “pin” notes in different groups and link them (with digital string :D).
Like, there could be a group of notes, each representing a place. Then there could be links to all the actors, that are in this place, to a given time, and so on.
I have an HDD with… I think 4 TB laying around. What would be the best option? To just plug it into the server and leave it there?
Thank you, I’ve downloaded the .md for my Obsidian notes :-) Great starting point!
Thank you for sharing this article! This prevented me from working on projects and software. Not only FOSS projects should refrain from using Discord. Community-driven projects like Skywind are barring themselves from helping hands, they desperately need, by using proprietary, privacy-threatening software as their way of communication.
Hello, Audio Engineer with some little knowledge regarding AI here.
What you think of is restoring frequencies, this is possible, and commonly used in plugins for audio restaurization. I might be mistaken, but this does not improve the bitrate, but the perceived quality (which is still lossy).
I don’t think that there is a real interest to upscale quality (not perceived quality), especially for longer (> 1 minute) material.
Like @NaN mentioned: Some apps detect, that they’re not running on a licensed OS and block some or all functionality.
I’m not using any payment apps, as I’m trying to mostly pay in cash or by card. Only using NFC for my passport.
I’m not using it for anything like that, mostly for using my passport for digital services.
I’m on GrapheneOS since a few years now, started out with a second-hand Pixel 3A, moved to a Pixel 6, and am now on a Pixel 8 Pro.
GrapheneOS works great for my needs, and the sandboxed Google Play feature comes in handy if you really need to use an infested app, on another profile.
NFC works for me though, without an issue.
Same
Fascinating, Duckduckgo isn’t working for me aswell.
