    Is it really that hard to say “I was wrong about Platner. I’m sorry.” ? That’s all you need to say. You don’t need to self flagellate unless you want to and you especially don’t need to act like people were wrong to judge Platner earlier like Ken does in this article.

    Writing off all the earlier stuff as “the most Maine shit ever” just makes it look like people from Maine are assholes. It also excuses Platner’s toxic behavior as “boys will be boys”

    I think what pisses me off most about Platner and anyone trying to defend his earlier shit is that this is a repeat of Biden in ‘24. Another man who thinks he’s entitled to lead is actually unqualified and has wasted everyone’s time, money, and energy. And a bunch of people put winning an election over doing what’s best for the country.

    If Republicans hold the senate expect to get an even more hard right Supreme Court (or at least maintain the status quo) as they try to solidify power before ‘28. So thanks for that Graham Platner.

    I think it’s a nice upgrade from the Switch 1 the build quality is a lot better and the screen is a huge upgrade. Performance is better too. I’ve never seen the OLED Switch 1 so I can’t speak for that but I think the upgrade would be less noticeable.

    I mostly used my Switch 1 to play indie games and Nintendo Exclusives like BOTW and TOTK.

    On Switch 1 both Zeldas, and Hades 1 would all drop frames at certain points. For Balatro on Switch 1 I had to disable everything in the visuals settings because the game would chug when you started scoring high. I don’t have these problems on Switch 2.

    Lastly, IMO if you can comfortably afford it and want one you should get one now before hardware prices increase even more. Nintendo is eventually going to stop supporting Switch 1 and there’s some good games like Pokopia that are only Switch 2 already.

    Most: Vampire Survivors or Balatro for low price Indie games. Destiny 2 for AAA where I must have had close to 3000 hours at the end of The Final Shape (TFS).

    Least: Anthem. I don’t remember if I pre ordered this game or not but my Destiny teammates definitely pressured me into getting it day one.

    This was the game that convinced me live service games are a dead end. Just an absolute skeleton of a game you could tell was rushed to release. We played the 8 hour or so campaign and did a few of the post campaign missions and that was it. During all of that the game constantly crashed and the gameplay loop was DOA.

    I always comment that Anthem made all the same mistakes that the original Destiny made with lack of content, story, and gameplay loop… 5 years after Destiny 1 released AND 2 years after Destiny 2 fumbled its launch.

    Destiny 2 at least got a few more really good years out of it up to TFS then went off a cliff and was all but shut down this year. Kind of proves my point that live service games are a dead end.
