hard to estimate, but probably not. I think what makes such companies go down is when the investors fear their money might be lost. that is, when the company is not worth much compared to their invested money.
So only, when the user count is dropping, that would be the case for paypal.
No, it has more to do with organizing progress. Lets say, you are some random person in the USA or a different country with problematic status. The theory of change is to get from there to something more democratic.
Basically, this means fighting effective: instead of randomly trying things and being frustrated that things dont change, you look for specific things which amplify your power. In the context of the USA a simple theory of change would be: since the wealth of elon musk is tied to tesla, elon musk will fall if tesla falls. And that is one part of preventing donald trump and elon musk to dismantle democracy. You have the people on your side as the sympathy for Luigi Mangione shows. So, another important part of this theory of change would be to make the fediverse/lemmy/mastodon/etc more popular, since it is more difficult to prevent showing symphathy for luigi mangione (compared to reddit for instance).
We as random citizens dont have much power alone, but together we are strong. So being an activist means that your strategy is like a Block and tackle, a thing we in germany call “Flaschenzug”. Instead of trying to lift heavy things and break your back, you try to look for things to make things easy. You look for a lever, and that is the theory of change.
So i recommend reading many books. Many smart people have written about their theory of change without calling it like that
(Also, right wing people have a theory of change to dismantle democracy. Which means, to fight them, you need to understand their strategy)
which is great, because it will increase the chance that tesla will go down and with that elon musk.
i disagree. nuclear power is expensive to build (usually exceeding the planned costs), is not resistant to high heat in summer (as shown by french summers), and a proper way of getting rid of nuclear waste is still not developed.
One Big Chart: how does the cost of nuclear power compare to renewables?

maybe have a extra mastodon account where you just follow positive things and radically filter out negative stuff (even with word based filters)
and then i can just recommend:
As a person from germany, this feels weird - like, why do you even need a delivery to the consumer? in germany, we have car seller shops. Even in the case where you live in a rural area, i’d imagine you can go to one such shop with 2 persons and you drive your new car home back and the other person drives with their car home.
I mean, i don’t know stuff about cars, since i don’t even have one (i can rely on trains and busses for my needs)
the solution is waydroid. that way you can run signal and stuff on postmarketos
maybe consider doing smaller steps? joining the testing team, follow the explanations of people, maybe read megi’s blog on pinephone driver development https://xnux.eu/log/index.html
i thought it would be this one? https://github.com/joinloops/loops-server
