It’s still strange to me that the EU can change national law by changing a policy. The EU is already a country, like the USA.

People bake and learn basic chemistry. The baseline of general programming knowledge could be more than zero. It’s a fundamental part of our society.

Explicit programmers are needed because the general public has failed to learn programming. Hiding the complexity behind nice interfaces makes it actually more difficult to understand programming.

This comes all from programmers using programs to abstract programming away.

What if the 2030s change the approach and use AI to teach everybody how to program?

Under actual socialism, the state owns the means of production. There is no private sector to tax. There is no flow of revenue from independent businesses because those businesses no longer exist as independent entities. Your points about taxation, profit collection, and philanthropy only make sense inside a mixed economy, precisely the system you claim to be replacing.

That’s your explanation. I quoted Wikipedia showing that there can be a flow of revenue. So why can’t socialism work like single payer healthcare?

A country that regularly does regime changes will not be surprised by a revolution. I think there needs to be political change if the power structure should change. The interesting thing is that poor people in America probably still use more resources than the global average. Are people willing to support a change to own less?

There is a growing division of the AfD in Germany between eastern and western oriented politicians. I am not sure if Russia can rely on controlling those parties in 10 years.
