I can’t tell yet

If one of the requirements is to run windows that leaves me out.

I wasn’t talking of making them available or anything like that. I was referring to seeing the ratio of people that saw a post versus those that commented or something like that, my bet is that they make a ridiculously small percentage.

I think it’s a combination of various things.
First, those that have stronger opinions are those that are more probable to post and comment, so most of the milder opinions get muted because it is not worth the effort.
Then you have to add the attention seekers and fear mongers.
I’m sure it’s not that many people compared to those that read whatever and moved on. It would be nice to see the analytics.

I’m 45 and never got that vaccine either, but there were still plenty of polio survivors with crooked legs around, I haven’t seen one of those leg bracers in 30 years. People don’t realise how commonplace they were.

Every time people talk about polio on the internet is about iron lungs, when I was a kid in the eighties it was rather common to see adults with leg deformities from polio. They were living reminders.

I used to make the same mistake. The problem with the question is that we barely know what are you asking, I have my suspicion of what it is about but I don’t know how to answer.

What voices are you talking about? Stop trying to be extra concise and properly develop your question, please.

Weird expression you say?
At this point you’re just nitpicking

You can start playing “was my first impression right?”, then add or remove exclamation marks at the end of the tag.

List, once I have everything in it then I look for stuff I might be in the mood for.

I subscribe to communities I’m interested, from time to time I browse all to find new stuff, and block some of them.
Also some alt accounts to emulate the multis from reddit.
And on Voyager I use color coded tags for users. I try not to block users, that’s just a mute button.

Kodi. I remember trying it years ago but since it didn’t play well with the piHole I was running back then I forgot about it completely.
A few months ago I was trying to figure out jellyfin but the computer I was planning to use was way too old for it, someone suggested Kodi and after getting used to its interface it’s been great. I’ve even found a great remote control app on f-droid.

That’s a good point.

Of course, it’s much easier when they’re single.

That goes for all “smart” stuff connected to the internet. If it’s not China it will be whatever company for not paying their new monthly fee or they decide that service is no longer profitable.
Today is a regular working day here, my shift will end, at 15:00, tomorrow it’s a holiday so I’ll be off until friday.
I’m sure that hairdo has a name.

I’d like a softer block, like an auto collapse or hide their posts but not the comments. An anti-shitposting tool.
Maybe using proton like if it was a game.
