Usually you can push 0 or *0 and go directly to a human. Also if it’s the kind that lists all the options, each one corresponds with the number on the keypad that matches it’s place in the order. (The 3rd item listed is 3, the 4th is 4, and so on)

Having health insurance doesn’t equal having access to health care. I know a number of people who are technically insured but can’t afford a doctor’s visit.

Yeah I did unfortunately…hence the recommendation for a way to do it all yourself. Though I have no idea what was involved in your various appointments so maybe it’s not a feasible option.

And if recording isn’t allowed, bring a notebook and pen. I frequently take notes at the doctor’s because I don’t trust myself to remember all the important bits later.
