The website lists some features that enhance legibility. Some are common sense (ex. 1, l and I all look different), some are less obvious:

It could be the handbrake (well, footbrake). If that’s the case, it’s unusually close to the other pedals.

Communities for identifying random stuff! Rocks, plants, bugs, fossils, that weird thingy in your grandma’s kitchen… I love lurking on them because I learn to notice more in my day-to-day life. The downside is that they need more active moderation to weed out wrong or unhelpful comments.

I can make two sounds that I haven’t been able to locate in the IPA chart. They’re a voiced and voiceless pair. I can only describe then as the sounds of a goose or duck.

Sleep, exercise, catch up on chores (cleaning, organizing). I’m tired of being tired, achy, and messy.

Yeah, Wikimedia is disappointing… The CEO makes over $500k and there are half a dozen other people who each make over $300k. I am seriously reconsidering my monthly donation to them. I love Wikipedia with all my heart, but it looks like my money would go further if I donated to the Internet Archive instead.

That would be an added benefit, yes! I live in a rural area with no sidewalks and no street lights. Whenever I walk my dog at night, both of us are lit up and reflective, just in case. I used to be the only one that went to such extremes but now I see a couple other people following suit. Yay for safety!

To mitigate the creep factor you could try snap-on hi-viz strips on your clothing, and maybe an LED collar on kitty! At least no one could accuse you of hiding in the dark.

I took the dog out for a walk yesterday morning, and she’s still resting from it. To be fair, it was -10C without the wind chill, we were out for 1.5 hours, and she’s at least 10 years old. She also sniffed dozens of animal tracks and barked at a snowmobile. A very satisfying walk indeed.

Canada has something similar! Look up “unclaimed funds” or “biens non réclamés” and your province/territory!

I’ve known about this for a few years, and periodically check for myself and family. So far zilch… but I keep hoping!
