There are waterproof pencil and paper sets that you can attach to the wall with suction cups. I have a set and use it pretty frequently when I have some sudden shower inspiration that I don’t want to lose.

Finally finished Death Stranding. On to Hades 2.
100% same. Interactive media like video games only. These days I abhor sitting down to watch most movies or streaming stuff. Visual passive media is pretty much a no-go for me without being forced by the partner.

Incredible game. Absolutely mind blowing experience overall. Agree that the ARG element was a super interesting twist. I think there was even more real-world stuff to it but it’s been a while since I played and got into the lore, so I don’t remember any details (and well could be misremembering).

Thomas was Alone. Cried over quadrilaterals.

Fascists are all overly self serious. Mockery is the best way to get to them. Keep it up.

One of the best bits of advice I’ve gotten on running games is just to steal ideas. Can be anything as simple from the plot of a movie that you re-skin or a kids puzzle that you put new names on and have the players solve. Beyond that: listen to the players and just let them fill in bits of plot with their theories.

Starting with a module or a dungeon crawl is easiest. Way nicer to have some guide rails in place when starting out. The impetus for me was just that no one else was going to do it and I felt it was better to jump in as a new game master and wing it rather than not play at all. Five or so years later after not playing for a few decades: here we are.

Perpetual GM here. I love PF, both 1e and 2e. Mostly playing the latter these days as it’s way simpler for new players. But my absolute love is Blades in the Dark. I run a game of that too and it’s just the absolute best.
Since I never get to play: I have a literally boundless library of characters in my head if any of my players ever express even an inkling of wanting to take the GM seat.

I used garlic spray for mosquitos to surprising effect. I had no idea it worked for ticks too. That’s great to know.

Rock and stone!

Recent hit in this regard is Clair Obscure: Expedition 33. Incredible writing and incredible game overall.

Huge fan of the original Pebble. But really appreciate the team here is being upfront about how the Apple walled garden BS is limiting functionality of how this new Pebble would work with iOS now. Not pulling any punches in how much Apple hamstrings outside interoperability.
Absolutely!
