“Walt Bismarck,” a neoreactionary/alt-right blogger, decided to live by his beliefs and move from the liberal hellhole of Arizona to the midwest:

In 2018 I moved from a racially diverse swing state in the Sun Belt to a homogenous red state up in corn country. This decision was largely motivated by politics—I was looking to retreat to an imagined hyperborea free of crime and degeneracy where my volk had political autonomy.

The particular delight here is the section “Reason #3 - White people are no longer my most important ingroup”.

It turns out they don’t like him, they don’t like his ideas, and the white womenfolk don’t take to him. The frauleins prefer “stoic chudbots with rough hands and smooth brains” over his noble mind and physique.

In practice a society that encourages late marriage is actually much better for more bookish eccentric guys, who tend to be late bloomers in developing their masculinity and ability to seduce women.

(meaning: he came on weird at one of the nice church girls he was ogling to the point where one of her large guy friends suggested he take his leave.)

Our guy comes so close to introspection, but successfully evades it and reaches the root cause - these are the wrong kind of white people:

But these Midwesterners aren’t descended from entrepreneurial adventurers like the rest of us. Their forebears were conflict averse and probably low testosterone German Catholics who fled Bismarck’s kulturkampf to acquire cheap land under the Homestead Act. These people mostly settled areas where aggro Scotch Irish types had driven off the Injun decades ago, so they never had to embrace the risk-tolerant, enterprising, itinerant mindset that had once fueled Manifest Destiny. Instead they produced families that became weirdly attached to their generic little plot of fungible prairie dirt, and as a result we now have huge pockets of the country full of overcivilized and effete Teutons with no conquering spirit who treat outsiders like shit.

There is no shortage of genuine and active neo-Nazis out Iowa way. But they would have met Wordy NRx Boy here and flushed his head.

In the comments section, other racists call him out on his insufficient devotion to the cause of white nationalism.

Even our good friends at The Motte took the piss out of him.

The illustrations are, of course, AI-generated.

Also this comment from the motte is definitely ethnonationalist, no?

Agreed, though, that a lot of white Americans are kind of like hobbits, in their lack of antibodies against general blank slatism, outgroup preferences, and progressive American culture. They might make a stink face at the young white male cosmopolitan who arrives in town for an extended study abroad program, but will root for outsiders and people that hate them when it comes to college football/basketball, the NFL, the NBA. Quokka would be the rationalist sphere term of art, here. “Cucks” might even apply. Relatedly, this has been touched upon in the Norf FC series of memes with regard to whites on the other side of the pond.

It’s the Motte special. Comments that are structurally culture critiques, but functionally a Turner Diaries summary.

The way tha “cuck” has been elevated to a genuine category in their armchair social science is such a warm breeze of insanity whenever I come across it

Internet weirdo to salt-of-the-earth Midwesterners: at least you’re all not cucks!

        SotEMW: cucks?

IW: you know, like that porn where a white dude watches black dudes fuck his wife!

SotEMW: <racks shotgun slide> get the hell away from my daughter

At this point I have to genuinly wonder how many people using the term “cuck” actually have any idea what it means.

And then they denied that any of them had ever embraced the term, stapled tea bags to their hats, etc.

I dont know if I’m not as smart as I thought, or not as knowledgeable in pseudoscience as I thought because this just reads to me like someone who sniffs their own farts stroking their ego because they shit out a comment they think is incredibly meaningful.

He’s (very wordly) paraphrasing the common esoteric right wing belif that anti-racism is a belief only truly held by whites, and that it is simultaneously the contemporary western white’s only mistake.

A cousin from the same parent thread goes a step further and claims that whites…

I think he seems to have realized a terrible truth for a lot of WNs who are deeply used to their particular kind of persecution complex and enemy hierarchy, which is that much of the state of the modern west is a direct product of the ‘white temperament’ and white population preferences, possibly on a genetic level.

…are GENETICALLY inclined to support diversity, which is a claim so fantastically racist that it might just offend everyone on Earth.

Agreed. This person is basically just discovering he doesn’t actually like people in a general sense and he can’t use the self gaslighting notion of skin color to pretend there’s people out there he actually likes. His window of acceptable is so small he’s practically the only one who can squeeze through.

In part he can’t let go of whiteness as a label and synonym of superiority so when he finds a version of whiteness he finds subpar and unworthy by his own veiws of what it should be he compares that version of whiteness to… (checks notes) the Ming dynasty Chinese. He starts describing everything in what has been trained into him as language describing the inferior.

All he ever really wanted was to be openly horrible to everyone with little to no consequences… Because kindness and empathy is just not something he understands. If it doesn’t serve him directly it’s trash. It’s easy to pretend to an in-group when you just shout the same nonsense and get rewarded with pats on the back for playing along, but that doesn’t translate to people legitimately caring about you. It’s not actual empathy and human connection. It’s just reciprocity. The minute you stop playing tit-for-tat in a reciprocity based movement for any reason you get abandoned. This guy is so far along that pipeline that he can’t leave and can’t distinguish the human in anyone. It’s sad.

Completely agree. But while it is sad, at the same time I also am starting to lose empathy for them because they get to a point where they start to just want everyone to be miserable like they are. And when you get enough of them, they can start doing some real damage.

Yeah… I don’t mean sad in a “I want to make taking on their bullshit and trying to redeem them my personal project” kind of way. They desire empathy and I can understand where they come from (even if it’s grounded in evil bullshit) but babystepping them bit by bit into being reasonable to be around is gunna light whomever tries to do it’s mental health on fire.

I do not afford them empathy. Saying that I understand and feel the situation is sad isn’t pathos. They made this bed through a series of conscious choices and there is a human cost to believing what they believe that is unconscionable. I am simply sad that the situation has progressed to this.

I think it should be hyphenated, “blank-slatism” but I can’t be bothered to figure out what meaning the term is supposed to convey.
