Clearly, it is a strong signal that trump wants to work with the new democratic congress.

Ah, yep; and there we go. I 100% did not trust his conciliatory tone after the results, and this proves it. Temu Goebbels is going to start orchestrating some truly insane shit, mark my words. The regime is 100% going to get worse, and I’m pretty sure the play at this point is simply “let’s ignore the laws because we are in charge of all the people who have guns”.

All those people who were just elected need to step up and keep their eyes on the ball. Because there’s still at least two quarters of antifash left to play.

Meanwhile the two likely Democratic spokepeople for the house and senate just came out and said their priority is finding ways to work with Republicans. They’re like the dog chasing the car that finally got ahold of the bumper. They can no longer talk big from the position of an underdog and don’t yet know how to spin the fact that they have zero interest in holding these people accountable or cutting down on all the blatant corruption.

Hey this guy lost us both houses in the midterms, turned the nation blue, why not give him total control of the executive branch now instead of just a few key pieces

Or he’s just flailing and Miller’s the only guy that wanted it, nobody else wants to join/move up. Or he’s going to need Miller to do something heinous that causes intense backlash and an excuse for emergency rule or whatever you want to call it to not seat the new Congress
