One for the sidebar, in the spirit of incident-day-free counters[0], tracking how many days since the last time there was a dipshitted thing from the tescrealtors

Could do it with flap-counter or nixie-clock numbers for a bit of feel?

[0] - is this an insensitive idea? I know the counters tend to form part of safety culture and their reset indicates harm, but those clowns are exactly dangerous, so…

the only problem I have with this is the counter would permanently be at 0

can’t argue with that but it does rather simplify implementation

Some stuff is what the regulars dredge up from LW months ago, which raises the philosophical question - if a lesswronger posts a sneer but no-one reads it, is it really a sneer?

It would have to be something specific but recurring, like tescreal guru accidentally-but-not-really advocates eugenics on main, or yudkowski running afoul of actual AI researchers on twitter and getting roundly mocked.

But where’s the fun in canned sneering?

Maybe we should have a weekly thread for meta discussion and sneers that are too low effort to be their own post?
