And I’m guessing a “poop butt” is to be taken literally.

“poop butt” is my elderly house cat when she needs a little help cleaning up after using the sand box.

“shit ass” describes the character of my state’s Lieutenant Governor.

Disagree. While unconventional, the phrases would appear to be interchangeable.

If I wanted to call someone a shit ass near a 10 year old I might call them a poop butt.

To me, a baby is often a poop butt because of the diaper. Teenagers are often shit asses because they’re rebelling.

On that note, when people take a shit, where do they take it, and why?

I tend to leave my shit, not take it. Sometimes I even flush my shit. 💩

I assume they take it to another toilet or a compost pile. Maybe they need a fecal transplant and don’t have health insurance.

I’ve seen this a couple times and not sure how I feel about it. I think its because the joke and content it’s self is honestly brilliant. Like its such an original take on such a common everyday subject. Then even though I now his delivery of being the adapting foreigner is his shtick, I still just don’t like his ability to perom. I might have to check how his more current bits are cuz like installed I think the jokes are great, I just feel he might be a better writer than performer.

A “Showerthought” is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you’re doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted clever little truths, hidden in daily life.

Here are some examples to inspire your own showerthoughts:

  • Both “200” and “160” are 2 minutes in microwave math
  • When you’re a kid, you don’t realize you’re also watching your mom and dad grow up.
  • More dreams have been destroyed by alarm clocks than anything else

Rules

  1. All posts must be showerthoughts
  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title
  3. No politics
    • If your topic is in a grey area, please phrase it to emphasize the fascinating aspects, not the dramatic aspects. You can do this by avoiding overly politicized terms such as “capitalism” and “communism”. If you must make comparisons, you can say something is different without saying something is better/worse.
    • A good place for politics is c/politicaldiscussion
  4. Posts must be original/unique
  5. Adhere to Lemmy’s Code of Conduct and the TOS

If you made it this far, showerthoughts is accepting new mods. This community is generally tame so its not a lot of work, but having a few more mods would help reports get addressed a little sooner.

Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report, the message goes away and you never worry about it.
