radical for-profit “investment” in healthcare research, production, and administration makes outcomes worse, not better

not to be a raging commie but this upsets me

    Side tangent.

I think one of the main failures of modern society is that we alienate the opposition by exaggerating their views. I have never met anyone that would disagree on “caring about people’s health”, only the specific means to which it is achieved. It’s short sighted to rile up and align people through exaggeration, you are only feeding an echo chamber.

u know what fair. but let me clarify in a way that’s less abrasive but still has the same conclusions

if you are a researcher who cares about health outcomes on a national scale, you will by nature see the better outcomes of other systems and be able to see the patterns.

those patterns are denied and decried as “radical” by the most active political administrations across the country.

same conclusion but a more fair journey to get there

There’s loads of people who want whole populations they “disagree” with to not receive care (or anything at all from society). The country is full of fascists who are only sated when others are crushed, it’s basically the whole reason we’ve fallen behind in so many objective measures
