Panicked Curtis Yarvin—JD Vance’s guru—plans to flee USA
The arsehole was quoted:
The second Trump revolution, like the first, is failing. It is failing because it deserves to fail. It is failing because it spends all its time patting itself on the back. It is failing because its true mission, which neither it nor (still less) its supporters understand, is still as far beyond its reach as algebra is beyond a cat. Because the vengeance meted out after its failure will dwarf the vengeance after 2020—because the successes of the second revolution are so much greater than the first—I feel that I personally have to start thinking realistically about how to flee the country. Everyone else in a similar position should have a 2029 plan as well. And it is not even clear that it will wait until 2029: losing the Congress will instantly put the administration on the defensive.
Me:
So apparently not all is good in broligarchy land. Still it’s more likely he might be suffering some breakdown instead. Relatively poverty stricken people buy expensive convertibles when they have a midlife crises. People like him poop on the internet. Most likely he will be around, for sometime, causing grief

Curtis Yarvin goes to prison. He has two cellmates. He asks them why they’re there. “I helped Trump destroy the country”, one of them replies. “Well I’m here because Trump didn’t destroy the country”, Yarvin retorts. They turn to the third man, who says: “I am Donald Trump.”
@bitofhope @AllNewTypeFace here’s my real question, where the hell is he planning to flee to? what country would willingly take in a dude whose main resume point is “I’m a monarchist who is an expert in overthrowing liberal democracy”
even an autocrat would be smarter than to willingly harbor a guy who is intellectually oppositional-defiant, lmao
historically, perhaps argentina?
heh, yeah. there’s also precedent for these fuckers to disappear into the east for a while
vacation in dubai with one way ticket? i don’t know if yarvin would be welcome there
at first i was thinking about how several prominent islamists wound up in afghanistan, despite none being from there. they picked it because it was a dysfunctional state somewhat aligned with their cause. i don’t think it would be a stretch to say that argentina wouldn’t become that in a couple of years, especially if american “help” happens. and also there’s historical implication
well that or el salvador
Techno-feudalist slaver monarchy? I don’t think we threaten him with a good time
ok but he would have to convert to islam to worm his way into mbz advisory circle

And Trump is also tossing a lot of money that way.
Gotta question the “expert” here. “Enthusiast,” maybe. Yarvin is a jumped-up opinion columnist who only got this far because he never had an editor.
@istewart it doesn’t change the fact that virtually everyone in the current regime in the USA happily admits that he’s one of their chief intellectual northstars.
Just because someone is a crackpots or a dipshit doesn’t mean they can’t be intensely politically or philosophically influential - look at francis fukuyama or thomas friedman, both complete morons and yet responsible for a massive amount of human suffering via political action that aligns with their viewpoints.
edit: See also Trofim Lysenko, Andrew Wakefield, Napoleon Hill, Sun Myung Moon, et cetera
I was also stubbing my toe on “expert” there and +1 to this post
