The tattoo is gone. Dude had it covered up once he learned what it stood for.

I mean, using what you think is a cool symbol w/o realizing it’s actual meaning? It’s a thing.

How many military and right-wing groups use The Punisher skull on their swag, w/o realizing that the kinds of people they are are EXACTLY the kinds of people - thugs, brutes and those who like abusing others - that Frank Castle would go after?

    • I wish the the original tweet would have at least mentioned that as part of their criteria for supporting someone who got a nazi tattoo. If he just left it alone after learning, there’s not a chance I’d trust the guy nor anyone promoting him.

So I’m about covered in tattoos. Not a single time have I gone into a shop where any tattooist or artist wouldn’t check on a symbol. I’ve seen people get told to fuck off when going in for some nazi bullshit. I’ve seen artists sit people down and explain why getting lighting bolts “on that particular style” might be a bad idea. So either dudevis is dumb as a half a box of hammers or hescfull of shit. In my experience, people that get Nazi shit tattooed on them are usually both.

You are not, and apparently don’t know, a tattoo artist who’s client/market includes drunk Marines on shore leave.

It’s entirely plausible that a group of drunk lower-enlisted Marine reta… errr “Riflemen” went into a shop and all got a tattoo by pointing at something they thought was ‘cool’ posted on the wall.

It’s ironic (?) they they did this in Split, Croatia which is a country that had a rather strong actual-Nazi sentiment during and after WW2. Look up the Ustatce if you’re interested

ANYHOW it is undeniable that he got the ink, but completely plausible that he had zero idea what it was about, except that it looked like a fat pirate symbol

I’m skeptical, but yeah, I guess. Still, I’d keep my guard up around anyone that has, or had, tattoos like that whatever the excuse.
