A nuclear clear up, a bloody massacre, an extremely fraught game of marbles … From The Bear to Blue Lights, here are television’s most heart-pounding outings
Ever?
There needs to be a few more additions to that list.
- Who Goes There: True Detective S1 E4. The neighborhood wide shootout was some of the most intense stuff I have seen on TV.
- Love’s Labor Lost: E.R. S1 E10. Green is short staffed in the ER as while dealing with an on over loaded ER he also has to contend with a difficult birth.
- Hours 600-800pm: The Pitt. The ER has to deal with a mass casualty event.
- Life Time: MASH. Hawkeye has 20 minutes to perform heart surgery on an injured soldier. Man it was edge of your seat viewing.
- Best of Both Worlds Parts 1 and 2. Star Trek The Next Generation. It is the s3 finale and the first episode of S4 and man it was awesome.
- When we are In Need: The Last of Us. Elle is captured by cannibals and needs to be rescued, but true to form she rescues herself.
- Scott’s Tots: The Office. Good lord I have never been able to rewatch it.
- The Pilot: Lost. A guy got sucked into a jet engine is all that needs to be said.
That pitt episode takes the cake for me. A lot of that show are stress inducing but that episode made my wife and I put down the series for a bit
I love that episode of TLOU! It’s my favourite all time tv show episode ever. I have art of it in my house I’m THAT much of a loser.
I have had The Last of Us art displayed in my house for at least ten years, right beside some Star Wars knights of the old Republic art.
That episode was so well done.
Absolutely both Pedro and Bella nailed it. I don’t like the plot of the 2nd game so I’ve watched none of S2, it’s just not for me
Yeah, I hated the second game. The second season of the show fell flat for me.
Yeah people say that Dinner Party is bad, but Scott’s Tots is near unwatchable.
Dinner party is a messy break up episode. Scotts tots is a “destroyed 20 lives” episode.
Not even on the same scale in my eyes.
