      I think someone on here mentioned, in relation to that general issue, that modern standards for trigger-discipline are actually more recent than we generally think, wherein even professionals from the 60s and the like don’t practice what we would regard as good trigger-discipline because the notion of strict trigger-discipline as we would recognize it had not become widespread.

      Yes, unless he is planning on imminently firing (which he’s not, since his gun is aimed towards the ceiling).

      This is the first time ever I’ve heard the word “trigger-discipline” and I’m kinda astonished that gunpeople have a specific trigger discipline

        Oh it’s an important part of gun safety. Keep your finger off the trigger until you’re pointing it at something you’re ok shooting

        I was confused when I first heard the term a few years ago - but once someone explained it, it clicked.

        It’s also shocking how many “gun lovers” pose with guns and have their finger on the trigger.
