your PI, PROFESSORS went out of thier way to help you, thats probably what Universities should having resources devoted to or my other suggestion was warnign students about certain fields. attribute my state school is how they treat HS students, just push them through the system and hope they dont ask too much questions, what they are after was FRESHman to get thier butts in the seat, because they know thats the cash cow for full tuition money.
