    It’s convenient that the stuff about “race realism” is hidden behind the paywall. It makes it much easier for Scott’s many defenders to continue to paint him as some sort of left-libertarian.

      Siskind’s always been pretty explicit about it, you get banned if you broach so-called culture war topics in the open threads. They ended up with two subreddits for similar reasons.

      Between this and EY seemingly being a huge fan of employing gullibility filters, one might argue that many of the most prominent rationalists aren’t necessarily the most candid of characters.

      Probably has something to do with the whole “We definitely know that race is a strong determinant of humanity, but we acknowledge that race isn’t the only determinant if you also already have money or influence and could help us.”
